Journal Illustration 11: My World Keeps Telling Me to Stop Speaking What’s on My Mind

I have a lot on my mind and I can’t stop talking. I see people always being cautious about what they say, but I like saying it raw with only a bit of filtering. Saying the truth about how we feel and think saves so much time, effort, and keeps us away from overthinking things and trying to analyze the vague words people say. It’s like saying ‘I’m fine’ when you’re not. You keep choking on all the pains in snide your head just because you don’t want to show your vulnerability to the others.

Now, the world thinks we’re fine because we lie to ourselves that we are. Say the truth and don’t sugar wrap it.
